Hello dear friends

I will start this weekly edition of newspapers with a few articles that will introduce you to some of the most beautiful places in Ireland. I will split them in categories. This one will be about Irelands nature and willderness. I hope you will enjoy. Lets go:

The Cliffs of Moher

The unbeatable magnificence of the Cliffs of Moher will take your breath away while recharging your spirit. One of Irelands top tourist attractions, these captivating cliffs make you realize just how small you are. Listen to the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crash against the ragged shore while taking in the magical vista in this unbeatable County Clare locale.

The Dark Hedges, Armoy

These enchanting Dark Hedges evoke a mystical feel most famously brought to life in Game of Thrones. This impressive 300-year-old tunnel of beech trees leads into Northern Irelands Armoy, a charming village spotted by historic stone cottages. The hedges impressive and haunting beauty has led to them becoming one of the most photographed monuments in Northern Ireland.

Skellig Michael

Star Wars fans will recognize the mystical, jagged, 217-meter-high Skellig Michael (Michaels rock) as the planet Ahch-To in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi and VI: The Force Awakens. It is the largest of two Skellig Islands, and both are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. A boat trip here can take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours, depending on where you depart.

Connemara Coast

Along Irelands west coast sits a large section of shore known as Connemara. Its here that you can experience much of what Ireland has to offer. From bogs to mountain vistas to deserted islands, Connemara is as varied as one place can be, making it perfect for explorers. Rent a bike, strap on your hiking boots, or grab a surfboard—theres no chance of being bored in this spectacular place.

Downpatrick Head

Just a few miles north of Ballycastle village, County Mayo, is the the windswept outcrop of Downpatrick Head. This is the perfect place to park up and stretch your legs with an invigorating coastal walk. The name Downpatrick is derived from a time when St Patrick himself founded a church here. You can still see the ruins of the church building, a stone cross and holy well here today. This was once a popular pilgrim destination, and today the crowds still gather here on the last Sunday of July – known as Garland Sunday – to hear mass at this sacred site.

The towering cliffs at Slieve League in County Donegal

These massive cliffs are located in County Donegal in the northwest corner of Ireland. Nicknamed Ireland’s ‘Forgotten County,’ a foray into Donegal tells it all. Donegal is a wild, rural place – full of vast bogs, rugged mountains, forlorn coasts and quiet farms. Donegal is possibly the coolest county in Ireland – in fact, Donegal was voted the Coolest Place on Earth by National Geographic Traveller.
