There is a theory that was mentioned by Hawkins... while time travel to the future NOW is not possible it could be made possible for future generations. using wormholes. Build a wormhole device now that creates a wormhole that links to another you build in the future. Sep into the future one you can return to now....a one way trip btw :P However as none were build before now we cannot go back in time. All theoretical and even Hawkins agreed it would not happen but his was the world of theory :P .
