Hello,

As ive noticed, admin article explanation wasnt enough to fill your questions with an answers. Hereby, i decided to share an article with explanations.

** Player can choose only one ability ** 
Why ? Both abilities is so much to have. We brought 4 abilities to enlarge strategical depth in the game and give some fun out. There will not be option to have second ability.

** Will you give us an option to change our abilities ? **

As like AAA or any other type of games nerfs/buffs is neccesary to find a proper balance. Currently ive made formula but i can not predict the players behaviour. By the speech, we can easily say million of possibilities. All the players can choose the medic and create so much energy for the common usage, or everyone can get destroyer ability and there will not be defence system alive in first 1 minute of the battle. So balance is required but if we make huge changes on the module, we will also offer to change ability option (once).

** Will you change the formula before day 500 and announce it again in admin article ? **

Yes, we may change the current formula before we make the feature live. We will let you know at least 2 days before that you can make your own decision in the day 500 and go for it.

** This is not for newcomers ? **

Lets take a look to the update but first lets speak about older players. If i would say a newcomers will start with top STR exist in the game, it would be unfair for the ones who is playing the game since the beginning. Thus, we made their progress faster than it should be. Approximately in 19 days theyll have an effect in battlefield. By the events, market, politics, medals and other variations can give them fun. 

Abilities has nothing with STR(old mechanic). All of them working seperately and of course update is for newcomers aswell. The one who started to play first day, will start to play abilities first time in day 500. Instead of giving extra STR build ( nonsense ) we gave more fun into the game. 

** Lets talk about abilities **

** Why %10 of chance **

Well, nothing is certain. You may put a bandage on injured soldiers arms but at the same time you can break your arms. You may shoot as a sniper but in changes on air, distance you may miss the shot. I can relaxly say that all type of games, abilities or professions or skills working based on chance. Please do not ask to make it certain. 

* Some notes *

- Upgrade cost same as TRAINING GROUNDS. 
- Daily payment is 0.89g no matter which quality you have. Example; q1 medic will pay 0.89g to train. q2 medic, q3, q4, q5 same.
- In day 500, youll see new menu item in my buildings section named ability. Same design as training ground page. Once you click on upgrade you can see the list of all abilities. After you click one of them, automatically you set that ability to yourself.

-- Medic --
Let me start to give an example from the beginning. I have 500 medic ability. If i would upgrade my ability to 5 ability points per day, i would get this in 100 days equal to 3 months and 10 days. So everytime i hit into the battlefield (100 energy hits) i will have chance to give 50 energy into the battlefield that over 27 level players can use from the POOL. Only my compatriots(citizens) neither allies, nor travellers. 

So i hit 1000 energy and by my luck i add over there 200 health. If i am the only one who is online in that battlefield, i can be fast and use it for myself. But if there is another players seen that i add 200 energy into the pool, that another players can take it aswell(my citizens. Neither allies, nor travellers.) Maybe i will be able to get 100 energy and xplayer will get another 100 energy. When pool come to the zero, medic supply bar will be lost. In case if i add more, it will come back again surely. 

So 10 medic hit in battlefield. gave 5k energy into the pool for ALL. xplayer2000 used 100, yplayer2018 used 1000, zplayerSexy used 2000 and there is still 1.900 energies waiting for the usage. IF that 1.900 energies is not used untill the end of battle, energies will not transferred into some other battlefield or carried by itself automatically. Medic heals are belong to specific battlefield medic hit.   

-- Sniper --
Chance ratio is a bit hursh huh ? Yeah, that might face with chance. 1000 days for %1 of update a bit cruelty. As i told you, untill 2 days before the change, we may change the formulas. 

What sniper will do ? 

Let me tell you his limits. 

- Sniper ability will not be activated if user hitting BAREHAND. Thats for wrestlers, not for snipers. 
- System will check the amount of your item you are hitting. Lets say you have 50 q5 aircraft and 1000 energy filled at the moment. Sniper ability wont be active because you do not have enough item to compansate 1000 energy. In this example you may need 100 q5 aircraft and 1000 energy. Then your ability by the chance will hit all 1000 energy and 100 q5 aircrafts in one click. If i would playing the game, i would prefer to do hit 1 and fill my energy, hit 1 and fill my energy again to get the chance and hit all. 

-- Destroyer -- 

With change of defense systems destroyer has an important duty to do. Destroy it! Yes, we have boosters, damage reduction wipers in the game but that does not mean all players are activating that every battle or everyday. Those items are time limited and if you do desire to hit 10k hits, you need much more than just a one booster or wiper. Having an advantage to break DS5 for all, something tasty. 

For destroyer formula, we may make some changes as like the others. Plus, we may consider to allow second, third, forth defense system installation into the battlefield. That requires balance. We do not want destoyers wiping their fingers to get no result in battlefield. 

--Artillery--
Formula may face with change. This is something like youll get extra damage completely seperated from STR formula. Approximate %10 of your total damage by %10 of chance. We do not desire to do it higher, or much profitable than other abilities. All should have meaning.

Sniper is bad formula, i will wait change of formula for further my opinions, about medic, its not worthy if 1 player can go and steal all the stack.. all players should use that like hospital..

thanks, great :) .. another question though...10k HP in the pool... and 100 people trying to use it... will the system/server be fast enought to do all that + all the regular hits? Or will i click on pool energy and get lagged like hell and i would be better of just doing normal hits? :D

Hey, @macolar. Let me give you our server spesifications. | Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz (20 core(s)) | 256GB ram | Unlimited SSD | 1tb/1tb bandwith. I observed in the day the big battles occur. Cpu usage was 3% and ram usage was %1.56 with 5gb memcache. While i am writing this comment our cpu usage %0.78. Response from any table in database is Query took 0.0006 seconds. I have 100/30mbit fiberoptic internet and while i was observing that battlefield, had no issues on me. Every 10 days, optimizing the database, cleaning unnessary datas and even made changes on database engine to make executions in row level. Literally i do not see any problem, might be in user side ?

Well, i asked because many times of huge battles whole site already blacked out for everyone not for single users. Sometimes hardware might not be a problem :) I look forward for the update anyway and im sure it will be very good in time when all formulas are done fairly for all :) Keep up the good work. For everyone who again contradict... please rather than cry again, try find better formula and present it to tyrael if you believe current ones are bad. They might not be optimum but surely will be in time. Thats why its been announced 2 weeks before so all can be discussed and prepared for all of us to play satisfied :). In basic i believe its good established update. Its also good for newcomers as they might benefit from every ability old players use and vice versa. As for having all abilities... idk.. perhaps give a chance to those who want BUT only be able to train 1 per day. And changing from one to another would require some kind of payment and TIME to change (Like few days or a week) So one can not simply change for every single battle. That would be OK... But in all means im against changing ability from battle to battle.

Well, we may also need to stablish a minimum level for destroyers, I mean to prevent armies of multies taking down DSs in a short period of time and then.. back to sleep!

@tyrael: The problem I am faceing is server just doesnt respond when heavy OH is prepared on both sides. And it doesnt matter wheather Im using 10/10 cable internet connection or 100/100 FTTH at job. Or even 1g connection in our system room. Do you monitor servers, especially during peek times (like OH at the end of battles,...) . Do you constantly meassure them? Do you have any graphs that could show you what is happening with the system heartbeat? Did you tune up TCP stack, web server, FPM workers, database buffers, system buffers? What about I/O subsystem, memory consumption, swap useage,... There are so many factors there. And yes, problem could be also border router trying to prevent DOS which is not under your control. Personally I doubt you have enough traffic for that but still did you ask your ISP? I believe your system should be more than capable to handle all your traffic with proper tunings. I might be also wrong. I cannot say for sure without the data.

Hey @massaru. I am aware all those setups has to be done and yes i made proper arrangements for the server side but i figure it out system has couple of issues. Tables created in myisam engine, the table holding the user and the table holding the battle datas are Myisam. Myisam has table level lock in update executions. Once users start hitting on battlefield both tables getting updated and not with cache, live. For both tables i have to switch to the innodb for row level lock to prevent dead locks. Plus for better performance i should take care of innodb buffer setups. Yes i am monitoring the server when there is a huge queries in system but as an hardware not even %3.2 percent we reached so far. That must not even trigger protection for ddosses. In anyway, i would love to get a second eyes if i am making a mistake in somewhere. I got the system month ago and shitload of things has to be taking care of :) reach me out in discord if you may.

To put more fun and less luck on the game, i think you should apply the pseudo-probability formula like in some Dota2 abilities with chances. Lets say i got 10% chance at start, everytime I hit 100energy and the chance not get 1, the 10% chance add 10% more, so the next 100 hit will be 11% and so on, until the chance is out and the probability reset again to 10% again. I think itll quite fair because if Snipers miss because the air, they adapt to get more precise hit on the next shot. Lets hear what you thought on this. Cheers

@Kozmo, well you thought really good. That was my tend to make. I will make a proper arrangements for that. Untill the success, ratio can be raised, then go back to its default. Good job.

For the artilery what do you mean approx 10% of all dmg? what would be the difference when i have 500 points on artilery and 1500 points ?

Based on artillery point. If you keep yourself in train everyday your max can be %10 but if you dont have artillery point enough, then youll get lesser.

@tyrael , so if i do not build q4 artillery ground right at the start and keep training everyday i would not be able to receive the maximum dmg ?
